Graveside services are scheduled Friday at 2 pm at Sierra View Memorial Park for a lifetime 
Yuba-Sutter area resident Clara M Blackford, 99, of Wheatland, who died Nov 26, 1990 at 
her home. Born in Meridian she was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in 
Grass Valley. She is survived by a son, Leonard Blackford of Sacramento; a daughter, 
Madeline Bowling of San Leandro; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and 
several great -great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Robert Blackford Jr 
in 1987. The Rev Ted and Vicki Firch of Fairview Community Church of Rio Oso will officiate 
at the services. Memorials to a favorite charity are suggested by the family. services are 
under the direction of Lipp & Sullivan funeral directors
