Trena E. Downing 
A memorial service is scheduled Saturday for Trena Evelyn Downing, 77, of Sutter, 
who died Jan. 5, 1992, at Fremont Hospital. A native of La Mirada, she had lived in t
he Yuba-Sutter area for 31 years. She had retired as a waitress at Denny’s restaurant 
in Marysville. She is survived by a sister, Helen Shutts of Sutter; and two step-sons, 
Andrew Downing of Indiana and Robert Downing of Texas. A memorial service is 
scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sutter United Methodist with the Rev. Dan 
Damon officiating. Private inurnment will be in Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are 
under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
