Shirley Curtis, 87, of Yuba City died Oct 08, 1998, at TLC Estates. Born in Yuba City, she 
was a lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident. She was a teacher for Bridge Street School in Yuba 
City for 35 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member 
of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Bogue Country Club. Survivors include one son, 
Charles Curtis of Yuba City; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Donald Curtis, and by two brothers, Charles Summy and Clarence Summy. 
The family suggests memorials to Grace United Methodist Church.
