of Illinois, aged 52 years. The remains will arrive here on the Knight's Landing train tonight

Funeral of W. H. McPherrin
The funeral of the late W. H. McPherrin took place from the N.E. Church at Sutter City 
yesterday afternoon at 11 o'clock. despite the threatening weather a large concourse 
of the friends of the deceased attended the services which were presided over by Rev. 
Mr. M. Kinzie, who also officiated at the Sutter City cemetery. The following gentlemen 
served as pall bearers; O. W. Moon, Joseph Girdner, Eli Davis, W. M. Wadsworth, Irwin 
Griffith and C. H. Pease
