Record Searchlight, July 02, 2006, Redding.com COTTONWOOD -- Graveside services for David Alfred Hoffman, 76, of Cottonwood will be at 11 a.m. on July 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sacramento. Mr. Hoffman died Thursday, June 29, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Born March 6, 1930, he moved to Shasta County in 1992 from Sacramento. A veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years, attaining the rank of technical sergeant. Survivors include daughters Yolanda Marino of Sacramento, Elsa Catala of Florida and Imelda Carlton of Cottonwood; stepson James Gonzales of Waco, Texas; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
