Irma Staffield Gordon 91, of Roseburg, Ore., passed Aug. 29, 2006, at Mercy 
Manor Alzheimer's Care Residence. She was born Nov. 30, 1914, in Cleveland, 
Ohio, and graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, 
Calif., and then Chaffey Jr. College in 1933.

She married Paul S. Gordon of Claremont, Calif., on Aug. 22, 1937. They lived 
in Claremont for 41 years where she raised her three children and was active in 
church affairs at St. Paul's Lutheran in Pomona and St. Luke's Lutheran in 
Claremont. She and her husband retired to Big Bear Lake in 1978, and after 
Paul's death she moved to Oregon in 1986 to be near her children and other 
relatives.

She is survived by her two sons, Eugene of San Diego and David of Canby, Ore., 
and her daughter Judy of Roseburg, Ore., and well as three grandchildren and 
three great grandchildren.
