Redlands Daily Facts; 03/12/2008 

Raymond O. Edwards, a longtime resident of Redlands, died of pneumonia March 9 at Redlands 
Community Hospital. He was 79. 
He was born March 21, 1928, in Ohio and had lived in Redlands for 60 years. 

He served in the U.S. Army and worked in civil service at Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino 
for about 20 years. 

Survivors include sons Larry Edwards and wife Melanie of Hemet and Don Edwards and wife Nancy 
of Medford, Ore.; daughter Nancy Hartmann of Redlands; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren 
and one great-great-grandchild. 

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Cortner Chapel, 221 Brookside Ave., Redlands. Burial 
will be at Riverside National Cemetery. 

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
