Daily Press, Hesperia Star & Desert Dispatch; 2/18/2008 Jonathan Dean Chittick passed away Jan. 30, 2008 in a traffic accident in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend. He was born July 28, 1985, in Long Beach. Johnny grew up in Apple Valley, and was a full-time business student at UNLV. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute with his family and friends. In his short time here, he was fortunate to have traveled to many parts of the world, including as a foreign exchange student to Germany. He was an inspiration to all, with a smile that touched everyone he knew. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Melinda Chittick; brother William and sister-in-law Shannon; niece Harleigh, of Apple Valley; grandmothers Connie Chittick and Patricia Nestell; aunts Karen Chittick, Karen Bridges and Jacqueline Razee; cousin Ashley Razee; and many wonderful friends. Chapel services are at 1 p.m. Monday, with graveside services immediately following. Both services will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley. Kern Hesperia Mortuary is handling arrangements.
