Gertrude Reines Pease, 94, of Sacramento died Feb. 26, 1997 at Greenhaven 
Country Place, Sacramento. A native of Sutter, she was a former Yuba-Sutter 
resident residing in the area for 30 years. She was a graduate of Chico State 
College and a teacher for Oakland Tech High School in Oakland. She was a 
member of Josephine Chico Chapter, Order of Eastern Star No 104 and Rose 
Croix No 7, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Survivors include two 
nephews; Hanlon Reines of Yuba City and Everett Pease of San Diego. 
Services: Graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday in Sutter 
Cemetery. members of Fidelia Chapter No 56, Order of Eastern Star of Yuba 
City will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial 
Chapel.
