Alice Lowe
Funeral services for Alice Lowe, 92, a lifetime area resident and member of an early Sutter County 
family, will be held at 11 am Thursday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. She died early today at the 
Walnut-Whitney Convalescent Hospital in Carmichael. Mrs Lowe was the youngest of six children 
born to Mr and Mrs Eric Nelson, who were among the early residents of Sutter County. She was a 
member of the Grace Methodist Church in Yuba City and a member of O'Banion Corners group for 
many years. Survivors include a son, Laverne Lowe of Yuba City; two daughters, Gertrude Mohl of 
Sarasota, Fla., and Eldora Merola of Wilton; and eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 
Rev Edgar Nelson of the First United Methodist Church in Yuba City will officiate at the services. 
Burial will be in the Sutter Cemetery
