Longtime Auburn resident and businesswoman Delpha Irene Shull died June 12, 
1999 at the age of 86. Mrs. Shull was born Dec. 5, 1912, in Wyoming and lived 
for many years in Auburn. She was the former owner of a dress shop and a 
partner with her husband the late Ray Shull, in an auto dealership. Mrs. Shull 
is survived by a dear friend, Peter Orzalli of Citrus Heights; a daughter, 
Kathy Arnold of Auburn; a grandson, Jeff Arnold of Maui; a granddaughter, Traci 
Meadows of Auburn; a sister, Merle Caborn of Oroville; and three great-
grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Old 
Auburn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 
or the Diabetes Association .
