Mrs. Lucinda PENLAND, beloved mother of Mrs. H.D. McCREARY and L.D. PENLAND of 
Yountville, was taken by death late last night at her home in Vallejo.  
She was 83 years old and had been a resident of Vallejo for the past 35 years.  
Besides her son and daughter in Yountville, Mrs. PENLAND is survived by a 
daughter, Mrs. Martha GARDNER of Vallejo, and a son W.B. PENLAND of San 
Francisco.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Chisholm 
and Dickey Parlors in Vallejo.  Entombment will follow in the Community 
Mausoleum.
