Marysville Daily Appeal Tuesday August 27, 1895 pg 1 Death of Mrs McPherrin Undertaker A. B. Hopkins received the following telegram last evening from Eugene Summy from Pacific Grove "Meet the train Tuesday. Prepare to take charge of Mrs W. H. McPherrin's remains. " Mrs McPherrin was a well known resident of Sutter City and her husband was buried on December 16. The lady has been an invalid for some time past. Marysville Daily Appeal Wednesday August 28, 1895 pg 1 The remains of Mrs W. H. McPherrin arrived from Pacific Grove last evening. As the lady had been invalid for a long time and as there has been some differences of opinion as to her ailments an autopsy was held by Dr. C.E Danforth assisted by doctors Barr & Rogers. It was ascertained that death was caused by pulric abscesses. Marysville Daily Appeal Thursday August 29, 1895 pg 1 Funeral at Sutter City The funeral of the late Mrs McPherrin who died at Pacific Grove took place from her late residence at Sutter City at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. Rev S Kinsey of the M.E. Church South, officiated at the house and at the Sutter City cemetery where the interment took place. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers, George Brittan, Eli Davis, W. E. Humphrey, William Wadsworth, W. A. Clements and Joseph Girdner
