Former Coast Woman Dies At Dos Rios
Mrs. Wm Fales, a native of Hopland, aged 66, died at Dos Rios, this county on February 
11th. She was married to the late William Fales at Westport, June 14th, 1889 and was 
well known on the coast where the family had lived many years. her maiden name was 
Cora E Jenkins. She leaves four sons to mourn her loss. Two sons and two daughters 
having preceded her in death. Rev. B. A. Heavener formerly of Fort Bragg, but now a 
resident at Covelo officiated at the service together with Pastor Gray of the Covelo 
Baptist Church. She was laid to rest in the family plot in the Masonic cemetery at Dos 
Rios.
