Willits News, July 24, 2000 Pg 95 A celebration of life will be held in memory of Beulah Frances Fales on what would have been her 90th birthday. Saturday, July 15, 2000, beginning at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 45 Wood St. Mrs Fales enjoyed her garden, watching her "soaps", crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She died here July 11, 2000. Cremation will be private and interment will be at Little Lake cemetery. A native of Jackson County, Oregon, this daughter of Willis Dockery and Mary Etta (Ward) Johnson had made her home in Willits for the past 58 years. She was a member of the Willits Grange and the Rebekah Lodge. Preceded in death in 1983 by her husband, Minton Daniel Fales, to whom she had been married 58 yeras, she is survived by one son, Willis Fales of Willits; two stepsons, Earl Fales of Oregon and Ray Fales of Florida; three daughters, Shirley Wagner and Arlene Hamilton of Willits and Carol Crouch and her husband, Bud, of Reno; a sister, ethel Paulsen of Yreka; 20 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 29 great great children with another on the way. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Willits Senior Center.
