Mrs Annie Fales died in Santa Rosa hospital July 30, 1977. Born in Louisiana 
(January 3, 1898), she had lived in Fort Bragg until 1958 when she moved to 
Willits for ten years returning to Fort Bragg in 1974. Two sons, Vernon W Fales 
and Thomas Fales, both of Fort Bragg and four daughters, Laurie Spears of 
Ukiah, Esther Johnson of Arcata, Elaine McClure of Santa Rosa, Maryann Tryon of 
Weaverville, survived. Rev. F. Alton Sandel led a service on August 4th; 
interment was at Rose Memorial.
