Reginald "Gene" Britton lost his life on Friday, April 14, 1995. He was 44 
years old. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudette Fay Hoaglen Britton; a 
son, Neal Britton; six daughters, Crystal, Shawna, Stephani Britton, Lucinda 
Newell (of Laytonville), Laura Betts, and Annette Sizemore (of Laytonville). He 
is also survived by a sister, Birdie Lockhart of Covelo; and four brothers, 
Harold, Lawrence, Gerald and Earl Jr. Britton, all of Covelo. Additional 
survivors include his goddaughter Kadijah Britton; a special nephew Jerry 
Briiton Jr.; and five grandchildren.
