Services for Howard Colby Nelson, 75, will be held 2 p.m., July 23, at 
Trinity Episcopal church in Folsom. Local arrangements are by Chapel of 
the Pines funeral home. Interment is private. Mr Nelson died July 15 at a 
local hospital. Native of El Centro, he previously lived in El Dorado Co 
for three years. He was most recently a resident of Sacramento. He last 
worked as a maintenance worker for the National Park Service. Mr Nelson is 
survived by his wife, Elva Nelson of Sacramento; a son Howard Nelson of 
Washington and a sister Mona Wilber of Folsom. He is also survived by five 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
