George L. "Breezy" Fales Jr died Oct 24, 1987, at the age of 70, from a fire of 
his residence in Bayside. Breezy had worked for many years as a logger and 
retired from Louisiana-Pacific as a timber faller. He is survived by his 
mother, Marie Fales of Fortuna; his sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Susan 
Fales of Ferndale and Dan and Diane Fales of Eureka; his brothers, David Fales, 
Arthur Fales of Las Vegas, Nev.; his sister, Irene Giulietti of Fortuna; his 
six grandchildren, Tuesday and Polly Warlick, Jody and Cory Fales, and Barbara 
and Tricia Fales; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 
his wife, Marion E. Fales, in February 1986; his father, George L Fales Sr.; 
his daughter, Penny Fales in June 1987; an infant daughter, Mavis Fales; and 
two brothers, Ben and Bob Fales. Private Inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial 
Park in Eureka.
