Harold R. Wilsey Sr., born in Buzzard's Roost

Services will be held Saturday at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in 
Colusa for Harold R. Wilsey Sr., who died January 24 at Colusa Community Hospital. 
Services will be followed by burial at Colusa Catholic Cemetery. There will visitation 
at the McNary Chapel today from 7 to 9 pm. Born on April 28, 1899 in Buzzard's Roost 
in Shasta County, Mr. Wilsey moved to Colusa in 1914 for make his home with his Uncle 
William Merrill Sr. He was a collector for I.G. Zumwalt for many years and was a field 
manager for Production Credit Association for 20 years. He retired in 1964. Mr Wilsey 
is survived by his wife, Pauline Wilsey of Colusa ; a son Harold Wilsey Jr., of Colusa; 
daughter Robyn Dorsey of Chico and by six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 
He was a member of the Colusa Historical Society. Arrangements are under direction of 
McNary Moore Funeral Service.
