F.H. Hochstrat Dies Suddenly, Funeral Here
Frank Henry Hochstrat, born near Westphalia in Osage County, Missouri, April 8, 
1870, died suddenly late Saturday. He had been in town that morning and was 
apparently in good health. On November 11, 1890 he married Miss Agnes Welch. 
For many years the Hochstrats have made their home on the Sunny Eastside. 
Those who survive him are his widow; his mother, Mrs Frances Hochstrat; four 
sisters, Mrs A.J. Gauthier of Oakland, Mrs L. Schnitzius of San Francisco, Mrs L. 
Gauthier and Miss Josphine Hochstrat of Colusa; three sons, Arthur, Henry and 
Joseph of Colusa; two daughters, Miss Bernadette Hochstrat of Colusa and Mrs R. 
Lamb of San Pedro. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock 
from Our Lady of Lourdes church. Pallbearers will be Henry Vostmeyer (of West Butte), 
D. Wiget (of Meridian), G. Laux, P. R. Westfall, L. Middlecamp and Lorenzo Brown. 
Interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Bros.
