Final Tribute To Highstreet
Concelebrated mass was offered at 10 am Wednesday in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 
for Louis Henry (Louie) Highstreet, 79, lifelong resident and native of Colusa, who died suddenly 
Monday in Eskaton Colusa Healthcare Center. Father Charles Brady and Father Nicholas Phelan 
officiated. Eileen Davis was the soloist, accompanied by Thyrza Wheeler at the church organ. 
Interment was in the Colusa Catholic cemetery under the direction of McNary- Moore. Pallbearers 
were Greg and Mark Weber, Bob Kaufman, Herman Schroeder, Harold Wilsey Jr., and Edward 
Shellooe Jr. Scores of Colusan's turned out to pay their last respects to Louie. long identified with 
the business life of the community.
