William U. Wadsworth
Orland - William Ullysses Wadsworth, 89-year-old Orland livestock buyer died 
yesterday at the Laura Millsaps Rest Home here. Born March 7, 1867, in Sutter 
City, he had resided in Orland the past 41 years. Survivors include two sons, 
T. P. Wadsworth of Berkeley and W. E. Wadsworth of Orland; two daughters, 
Mrs. H. O. Holt of Orland and Mrs. J. M. Lind Jr., of Inglewood; two brothers, 
George of Concord and E. L. Wadsworth of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Welter, of Paradise and Mrs. Ben Campbell, of Oakland; nine grandchildren and 
11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the F. D. 
Sweet and Son Mortuary here. The Rev. Richard Walsh, pastor of the Orland 
Federated Church will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
